For those who don’t have enough space to fit in those big refrigerators with LCD displays in their kitchens, Fisher & Paykel has designed the smart, space-saving Izona CoolDrawer. The Izona CoolDrawer is basically a hide-away refrigerator that can be concealed inside a kitchen drawer. It only takes the space of an under-counter cabinet and once tucked away, it appears to be a part of the other kitchen cabinetry. This multi-temperature drawer lets you cool, store and preserve food items at five different temperature settings - Freezer, Chill, Fridge, Pantry and Wine Storage. Simple electronic controls make it easy to select and change between the cooling options. Adjustable internal storage, ergonomically proven drawer format and the high-quality, hand-built cabinets with smooth glide full extension runners make this unit really easy to use. No idea on how much this unit is going to cost, but it does look to be a neat solution for urban apartment settings.
