If you always wanted to own a jet aircraft but do not have the luxury of a helipad in your mansion then these XF-85 and BD-5 jet aircrafts are small enough to fit in your garage, of course if its big on space and has high ceilings. The McDonnell XF-85 Goblin is touted as the world’s smallest fighter jet, measuring only 14.8-feet long. It was first introduced by the US Air Force in 1948 and designed specifically to fit inside the bays of larger bomber aircraft. The Goblin was scheduled to be part of the “parasite jet fighter program”, so it wasn’t fitted with landing gear but Techeblog suggests using it with a trapeze dock system instead. And, the Bede 860-pound BD-5 microjet is another possible choice. The celebrated jet made its debut in the James Bond flick “Octopussy”. It is powered by a single TRS-18 jet engine and has a top speed of 320mph. It can reach altitudes of up to 30,000 feet, “flying for 2 hours before having to re-fuel.”
