Artist Takeji Nakagawa of Take-G apparently loves robots. Since he also loves wood craft, he perhaps thought of combining the two disciplines and used the Japanese craft process Yosegi-Mokuzougan (joined wood block construction) to come up with these amazingly detailed wooden robo toys. The artist himself holds the world view that since humans can’t live without tress no matter what level of technological advancement we achieve in the future so he thinks of his toys as robots of the future. What a novel idea!
