We have lately seen the hotel room of the future, and now we have the “House of the Future,” sponsored by Samsung at Grand Designs LIVE, the award winning event for design and inspiration for your home, being held in London. They have envisioned the homes of tomorrow and confirmed a few products that people will be using in 5, 10, or even 20 years’ time at home. Although the products confirmed for the House of the Future look appealing, I am literally surprised to see four pods on the list, including the MetroNaps EnergyPod, Ovei pod, Globus workstation and the Napshell. They are pretty OK, but I think the most important aspect of the House of the Future will be the home automation.
