Remember, ‘Tony Alleyne’ the guy who got so much crazy about the Star Trek universe, that he remodeled his condominium to look like the inside of the Starship Enterprise. Now, a guy named Matthew Shiel has designed his home to resemble a flight simulator deck. The Virtual Flightdeck project as it is called is the end-result of years of work started way back in 1998. The simulator is 13ft wide x 11ft long and 9ft high and includes every switch and panel in the 747-400 down to the last detail. The Simulator has been built to accept full motion and visuals like the real flight deck. Not much detail is available about this unusual home-made flight simulator, but, it must have cost Matt, a fortune to build this!!
