85-inch-plasma-hitachi_48Hitachi continues to carry its legacy forth of bringing to the world the big screens. Now, the firm has revealed its plans to drop a few 85-inch plasma HDTVs. Although the size doesn’t stand anywhere close to largest PDP in the market, but it might help Hitachi to boost its global market share for large-sized plasma display panel TVs. The company anticipates that the plasma display TV market is going to double by March 2011 while the LCD TV market will bloom even more. For now, we are short on details of the big behemoth from Hitachi but we can surely hope for a 1080p model with a very reasonable price tag.
