But now, after we have seen so many luxury Hello Kitty products on the shelves, it looks like it has become more of a fashion statement. Last month, Japan’s character goods maker Sanrio launched solid gold Hello Kitty playing cards and now, they have expanded their range of products to include a gold Hello Kitty Pure gold art. A special lamination is done to offer protection to the 99.99 percent gold art job. Nearly 20 grams of pure gold has been used in the making by Mitsubishi Materials Co., Ltd. Hello Kitty lovers can buy the whole frame for 330,000 Yen (about $2,900).
