Remember the Hamilton-born inventor who designed a real-life Halo Suit for military purposes. Well, the disheartening news is that Troy Hurtubise failed to sell the suit to the military authorities and has now put up his anti-ballistic suit for sale on eBay. Troy’s Halo-inspired armored suit is fitted with knife and gun holsters, emergency lights, a head-guided laser pointer, a built-in recording device, pepper spray, and an ingestible transponder that can be swallowed in case of trouble along with other life-saving features. The eBay auction has currently received a bid of $2,850.
So, if you ever wished to play a real life ‘He-Man’ then this is your chance to make your dream come true! And, if you are up to inventing something inspired from reel-life, then folks, think again! You might have to suffer heavy losses pursuing your instincts, like Troy Hurtubise did and for another quote, remember ‘Tony Alleyne‘ the guy who went bankrupt, trying to remodel his condominium to look like the inside of the Starship Enterprise.
