Luxury cellphone maker Gresso has gone forth its bastion of chic handsets by rolling out an array of ultra-exclusive MP3 players dubbed Symphonia. The Symphonia series of media players is handcrafted from atypical 200-year old African Blackwood with each model flaunting an 18-carat gold control pad. Although the shimmering player doesn’t feature any screen, it still manages to pack 1GB of flash memory like the Apple’s Shuffle, and an FM tuner. Each unit comes with a tetrahedral case, which has a minuscule size of 39 x 39 x 10.5 mm thereby allowing the player to be worn as jewellery too. If you have been flipping around your sheaf of $100 bills and thinking of how to spend it, Gresso’s Symphonia MP3 player could be the just right thing. The collection is expected to hit the shelves in Q2 this year for a price of $4,000 for a model with Blackwood and white gold and $6,500 for a version made wholly of pink gold.
