Looking for a new surfboard? Why don’t you make it yourself? Grain Surfboards is offering beautiful wooden surfboards and they sell kits so you can make them yourselves. Grain surfboards are made of wood, explicitly Northern White Cedar with some Western Red Cedar for color accent. The green wooden surfboard will be highly appreciated by the eco-conscious surfers but, I have doubts if pros will quit glass for wood.
The compnay has a full range of board styles and even have kits for fellows who want to make their own. Prices vary between $1500 and $2000 for most of the models while the DIY kits start at around $500.
