Coming closely behind the Gold plated bike that showed up on Bornrich last week, here is a treat for all those who love to ride high by at least reading (if not riding) about such gilded extraordinary means of commuting. Called as Lil’ Dnipro, this Custom Lowrider Bicycle is plastered with pure gold leaf. This highly customized royal version comes with a long curved seat and upwards swept handle bars known as apenhangers. I fail to understand why it is stated as bicycle when the images clearly explain that it’s a Midas touched tricycle. Also it is mentioned that ‘Chrome and Crystals on Mirror’….but where is the mirror Mister? Anyway, what I could gather is that it isn’t up for sale or auction. So you won’t be seeing it on the roads in any part of the world.


It was crafted for A Poem About an Inland Sea by Venice Biennale for 52nd International Art Exhibition, Ukrainian Pavilion 2007. Guess one can watch the 14 minute video about that on the LCD screen. Also don’t miss out a similarly gilded dazzling tricycle which was a part of 2007 exhibition.
