It was a proud privilege for us to present their Loveseat amidst a petal of roses the last time around and this time yet again, with equal joy and admiration, I present to you the Globalight, second collaborated effort of Veuve Clicquot and Karim Rashid. April 16th, 2008 will mark the day of its release at the Milan furniture fair. This one is special because it not only makes up for a designer piece imparting a soft halo light, but it is also a portable cooler. A limited piece edition, there will be only 500 like these and they are rightly priced at $4000 a pop. Globalight looks to be the perfect thing to enjoy your champagne while you relax on your Loveseat or the Sphera bed.

how romantic! this would create the perfect valentine mood, whenever it is lit. its looking especially gorgeous on the beach, but i guess it’d effectively transform your living room into a fairyland. perfect way to celebrate V-Day or your anniversary or any special day when u cant go out.
