Originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and eminent for their gaudy beautification, Jeepneys have become an icon of Philippine culture. Now, up for auction at eBay is a Manila-style Jeepney, which is a rare original 1942 Willys based jeepney fabricated by renowned Jeepney builder Sarao. It was bought by Tombstone Pizza in 1985 who installed a ‘82 Buick V6, 12 volt ignition system, and automatic transmission to the roadster.

You will find the original Tombstone Pizza logo on the back door of the jeepney. The street legal jeepney is said to be in good running condition. Starting bid is US $15,000 and will end in about 17 hours. So, hurry up, if you want to own a true one of a kind vehicle.
