katana loudspeakers
High end audio just got another shot in the arm with the launch of the new and improved version of the already handsomely-packed VFlex speakers from the house of Gemme Audio. The new Katana loudspeakers tout a sturdier basic cabinet made from tenon and mortised with 50mm front and back baffles and interwoven 25mm braces strategically embedded in various surfaces. German-made Accuton 1.25″ ceramic tweeter offers extremely low distortion along with crystalline clarity while the 7″ mid/bass drive powered by VFlex Extreme topology delivers extremely-true to life audio. The loudspeakers come with three pairs of connectors on each speaker which can be used for bi-amping and for selection of high frequencies contour. Katana loudspeakers are powered by those fabulous german-made ceramic drivers in loudspeakers costing $20,000 and more. There are three pairs of connectors on each speaker. A luminous piano black, high-gloss finish only adds to the seduction of the state-of-the-art Katana VFlex loudspeakers. The Katana will be officially released in February 2008, as the Anniversary VFlex model.
