Yet another wooden laptop, and yet again I’m tempted to ask why in the world do these green designs have to be so ugly? I mean Fujitsu really tried to innovate within the parameters of eco-friendliness by using cedar instead of the usual bamboo in their design. And downscaling the keyboard to reduce the amount of plastic used is also not helping the cause either. I guess the Japanese company really wanted to justify the reasons for calling their design ‘Woodshell.’ Anyhow, Fujitsu’s laptop was displayed at the Salone Internazionale Del Mobile furniture exhibition in Milan where it drew very obvious comparisons with Asus wooden notebook. Fujitsu weren’t too keen on sharing info related to what they put inside this thing just as yet, so we’ll that bit for another day.
Fujitsu’s wooden laptop concept, it's not bamboo this time!
