vulture painting

We, as being the mortals, perish but the works of art are immortalized by the artists. A Francis Bacon painting is soon going to be immortalized owing to apt and subtle depiction of a man being attacked by vultures. As per Sotheby’s, this very painting may fetch a confirmed $70 million. The auction is scheduled to be in May in New York. Last year, Bacon’s Study from Innocent X, 1962′ went for $52.7 million in New York. The mart announced that a European collector, having possession of Bacon’s 1976 triptych for in excess of 30 years, is now vending it. He had procured the work from Galerie Claude Bernard in Paris. The painting by Bacon was crafted when he was living in Paris. The painting pencils in on the legend of Orestes being snowed under by the Furies for its imagery. Sotheby’s has not promised a surefire bare minimum value for the effort to the seller. So, despite unclear assurance, the work of art is sure to create a history.
