This remarkable supercar, First Ford GTX1 will be auctioned at the fourth annual 2006 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach collector car event that will run through March 30 to April 1, 2006 at the South Florida Expo Center. The prototype car was originally designed as a special edition vehicle for the 2005 SEMA show. The proceeds from the sale will benefit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The roadster features a hardtop by designer Kip Ewing, that can be configured in three ways which can turn the closed coupe to a fully open roadster. The #001 Ford GTX1 is powered by 650 hp supercharged V8 engine. The luxury coupe is estimated to fetch a handsome price!
