Living and studying for a semester or two overseas during college is a wonderful experience that most of us want to indulge in. Generally many of us are used to living in a home with a large den, a spacious kitchen and a bedroom with tons of closet space. So when one needs to head off to school abroad, it is essential to adapt to a new living style and embrace the idea of combining many rooms into just one or two small spaces. Here’s a solution from Nuno that has been listed in the Best College Project Contest. Although a concept yet, the design is based on getting the best out of 70 square meters. Creating something like this is mission impossible and even harder than getting a luxury look, is designing storage solutions for small spaces. Being a temporary housing, the rooms are presented as autonomous elements adaptable to any kind of space that make us feel as comfy as our own home.
On the other hand, the common zone is populated by democratic elements that allow the simultaneous use in different ways by all the inhabitants. How do you rate this stylish, multifunctional student’s oasis?
