Featured in the Hi-Fi concepts sections at Merrington Design, the Flat & Tall Lifestyle System is a treat for the eyes. It has been designed with the intention of offering the user a stylish, aesthetically pleasing, high tech, easy to use hi-fi product. The console is based on being a DVD/CD/MP3 and SD and CF Card player for music and movies at home. The Flat & Tall has a flat panel with touch sensitive controls and a large 70mm tall volume control knob that you can easily grab hold of to adjust to volume settings to your needs. On the top, the unit also features an iPod dock, built in digital radio, and an chrome ariel. Impressed with the design? Unfortunately, this is just a concept for now, but is based on many years of research in lifestyle hi-fi products. Personally, I would love to see the Flat & Tall stand tall in real too.
