dells new wow notebooks

Only a couple of days back did we talk about the World of Warcraft game, in regard to the merger of both Activision and Blizzard. It is undeniable that the game is Blizzard’s most prized asset, with its never ending popularity. It is a series that has brought home millions of dollars for the company. Now, Dell wants to follow the same path by incorporating the concept of the game in a unique way in its designs. The company has decided to merge both the games unique look and the design of its own laptops to create a brand new series that would appeal to all.

Dell has launched World of Warcraft themed laptops and this exclusive series is priced at a whooping $4450. The laptops are unique shaped, with the exterior designs looking as a cross between the metallic generation and the Gothic. It gives the laptop a look that is both regal and solid. The XPS M1730 World of Warcraft edition has the same specifications as the regular XPS M1730. These include Extreme Edition Core 2 Duo processors, DX10 SLI graphics, Ageia mobile PhysX processor, illuminated keyboard and a built-in camera. The laptop is as good in its performance as any and it also offers a great set of additional features for those gaming freaks.

Since the laptop is so uniquely styled, it is hard to ignore the fact that it is aimed at a very exclusive set of audience, who must be pretty crazy about the game. To satisfy all those it features World of Warcraft visual tweaks and extras, including books and a chit for a custom in-game pet. It comes in “Horde” or “Alliance” flavors to match the game’s factions and also offers War of Worlds backpack, including the game itself with the Burning Crusade expansion pack, strategy guides, a “making of” DVD and the audio soundtrack. Players will also get a “quest envelope” stuffed with a secret surprise.

The laptop is designed to please the ardent followers of the game. It will be available in the market by December 11, but is already available for exclusive Dell members. For those like me, who have no interest in the game, it is a sheer waste of money. Hope Dell gets a few takers on this.
