The current state of affairs will just not do! What is being referred to is the way that we usually arrange our workstations these days. Isn’t that constricting pose a pain in the ass, in the back and in the neck too? Daybed is a concept that provides an ergonomic way out of the discomfiture and blends in with the home décor wonderfully well. A lounge chair and an ottoman get combined in this precise design and a laptop is fitted just perfectly to make the Daybed a very versatile thing. Thus, it will as easily fit as a comfy chair at home as a heavy-duty workstation at office. Not only is Daybed a treat for the eye, but it also reduces stress and injuries associated with the use of laptops in unhealthy postures. The reclining backrest provides adequate support for the back and the ottoman below can be adjusted as per user’s heights.
Hassles too get minimized with speakers fitted inside the seat itself, exactly where the ears would be positioned. The laptop tray easily slides to provide an ergonomic work position and the swing arm pushes laptop away whenever desired. Other workstation features like integrated power strip, port replicator, cable storage area, and an extendable document tray are neatly incorporated in the exhaustive design. The design is suited to both left handed and right handed users with an option to rotate the tray 180 degrees with a convenient ball joint. Designers envisage that the Daybed would be made of 10% recycled materials and 95% recyclable materials, with aluminum, steel, and polycarbonate finding prominent use. Suited equally well for an afternoon of work or a siesta, Daybed is a great design solution.
