With religiously following our Thanks-Giving routine, we finally present you the answers to all your questions from David himself, who is proudly beaming with a decent mention in NewYorkTimes. Congratulations David! Here we go:-

1.Naveen: Hi David. It’s such a bliss asking a question directly from you. Well, If you are asked to design a future cellphone, what specs will you like to integrate in that?
David: Well for me the ideal cellphone would be a Apple iPhone type of device. The device would offer high speed EVDO Rev A, Wifi, Bluetooth, Video along with a 120GB hard drive for a direct connection to the iTunes Store for over the air purchases of the latest TV, Movies and Podcasts.
2. Vikas: David, with latest handhelds and other devices pimped with Wi-Fi, VoiP and other facilities, don’t you think cellular service providers are doomed to fail in the future?
David: No, but I do see this causing some major pricing wars. These pricing wars will only benefit one person the consumer.
3. James: Who is David Ciccone? Tell us something about your other hobbies besides blogging?
David: I really enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys. Video gaming is another big interest of mine which I own a Sony PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS Lite and some of the other vintage gaming systems.
4. Elle: What prompted the idea of Mobility Today forums? How far would you like to carry it from here?
David: For me the forums have always been the key to the success of Mobility Today. I am lucky to have the greatest set of moderators who enjoy helping others and answering questions. I am currently working on a full audio comment system for my front page where the member will just click a button to record their audio/video comment and everyone else can hear it or see it in type format. This is something I have been working on for a while and hope to have this integrated very soon.
5. Abby: Why only handhelds, don’t you feel like expanding your realm and move ahead and rip-off the innards of bulky gadgets too?
David: Well yes and no, lately we have been following Ultra Portable Computers, GPS Systems, MP3 Players and accessories. There are a lot of other great sites that cover the bulky gadgets so I think we will leave it up to them for those products.
6. Ankit: You have been recently featured in the New York Times, how are you feeling? Do you really crave for attention?
David: I was really surprised to see it to tell you the truth and it was a great experience. On your other question, I don’t think its a craving for attention but more of a passion to help others along with making everyone aware of my community. This year has been very exciting for me since we have been on NPR, TechTV and now The New York Times. Its all about getting the word out about your site right?
7. Puja: As far as handheld industry is concerned, what’s stored in the future? Will the revolution, if you call it so, will scale new heights in the future or go down, apparently, gobbled up by some other emerging technology?
David: I personally think the handheld industry will be one of the biggest areas of growth. Everyone wants the utopia of mobile computing and companies such as Sony, HP, Lenovo and Dell will all jockey for this limelight.
8. Jonty: Which cellular phone available in the market at the moment claims 10 out of 10 points in your view?
David: None. Right now no hardware manufacturer has address the battery problem. We can all shove WiFi, Bluetooth, EDGE, HSDPA, EVDO, GPS or whatever else. The one thing every consumer suffers from is poor battery life.
9. Vikas: What else is Mobility Today involved in? Where do you see yourself five years down the line?
David: I would like to grow my radio/tv experience. Right now I do a monthly radio show and I really enjoy it. I have also done some television spots but not enough to satisfy my goals. Ideally a Mobility Today TV show where I would contribute in picking the host, co-host, content and products.
10. Nandini: Would like to have your views on BornRich and Instablogs network?
David: WOW, I was really impressed when I first visited born rich. What I really liked about it is that it interests all audiences from soccer moms all the way up to business professionals.
We are sure, you enjoyed catching-up with David Ciconne. We wish David All the Best for all his ventures!
