Dacor has introduced its newest Renaissance 36″ and 30″ gas cooktops that boast professional-grade features and are designed for a completely safe cooking. The new cooktops feature Illumina burner controls, which emit a cool blue glow to indicate when the burners are on to prevent any accidents in the kitchen. The SimmerSafe Indicator light is an additional reminder that the cooktop is on although the flame may be barely visible during simmer. Each die-cast metal knob has a clear lens insert that emits the blue light from below with a rubberized grip for added comfort when setting the flame. The burners have a heat output of 18,000 BTUs and have technology that automatically reignites the flame if it goes out unexpectedly for uninterrupted cooking. The new cooktops will be available in July.
