Time for another Cool Geek announcement and this time we are crowning Deidre Woollard of Luxist fame, as this week’s Cool Geek. Deidre is synonymous to the world of luxury and has taken luxury blogging to new heights.

Standing at this high an alter, she doesn’t need any introduction - the less said the better, however, here is her brief bio:

Deidre Woollard has been writing for Luxist since its beginning in 2004. She has written over 8,000 posts for Weblogs Inc sites including Luxist, Styledash, Slashfood and TVSquad giving her a chance to indulge her love of pricey goods, fashion, food and bad reality television. Besides, she is also a Navigator on Netscape. After a career behind the scenes at several magazines she went back to school to get an M.F.A. in creative writing and hopes that 2007 is the year she gets back to writing more fiction. She’ll forever be a Boston sports fan but now lives in Los Angeles, where she love the weather and laments the lack of a football team. When not blogging she enjoys cooking, wine, the arts and is also studying to be a gemologist.
