Didn’t you hear, Cory O’Brien is one too-cool-to-handle geek busy finding ways to freeze your mind? If not, check out DidntYouHear or meet him right here while he makes his head accustomed to our Cool Geek of the Week crown.

Here is Cory in his own words:-
I am 22 years old and live in Northern California. Recently I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics and a degree in Philosophy, as well as a certificate of Entrepreneurship and a certificate of Leadership. I have been designing, writing for, and running DidntYouHear for over a year. The blog started as a hobby, and quickly grew as I discovered a love for writing and a love for sharing what I find on the web with others. My day-to-day job is Outreach Manager for a Public Relations company, though I’ve only recently started working there (2.5 months).
I’m a huge car guy, and my first car was a 1965 Mustang. I now drive a 2007 Honda Civic, since it’s a whole lot better for the commute, but I still love classic muscle cars. I’ve always been an entrepreneur, and when I was in high school, I turned a car audio hobby into an online business, selling car audio parts through a website that I designed and operated. In fact, when I started the company, I was so young that they needed a parent to cosign on my business bank account. My current blogging setup is a PowerBook G4 and a 22″ Acer monitor, though an upgrade to a MacBook Pro is planned as soon as Apple releases their next OS. Future plans for DidntYouHear.com include a project that is going to take the site out into the real world, though at this point I can’t really say much more than that. I’m hoping it’s going to be big though.

Hi Cory
DidntYouHear has very successfully brought anything and everything thats cool, hot, fresh and classic :-) till the date. Now, as you say, you are going to take the site out into the real world. I wont ask you anything about your secret project but I am literally anxious to know what this REAL WORLD is all about and do you think your site hasnt made its way into the real world yet?
Hi Cory, its so cool to have you here on Bornrich today, just went through your blog its really funny, esp. the David Blaine part (:D), Im inquisitive to know what are some of your favorite online and offline small business resources for inspiration and knowledge?
It appears to me, as to most of the others that you have been in the worldly trade in your early life when most of your mates must have been exploring various gratifications of life. What challenges did you face and how you tackled them while driving through the demanding blogging market?
Hey Cory!
Its simply great to have you with us on Bornrich! Firstly Im intrigued to know what kind of efforts you put together to draw attention towards your work? I went through your blog and it struck me whether there is some kind of message you want to put across to the readers, or are your writings simply pun intended?
Cory, nice to see a cool young face make it to the charts. Also it is incredible to see, after successfully graduating with two degrees and another two certificates, what inspired you into an entirely different streak was it the instability in the soul, or sheer interest.
Writing and designing are your strengths, both are demanding in their own respects does that ever trickle you into pressure, if it does, then what motivates you out?
Hi Cory
First of all congratulations that you have been spotted as too-cool-to-handle geek, which one doesnt find too often, busy finding ways to freeze your mind, and that too in a very young age.
What are your future plans with respect to DidntYouHear? Where do you see DidntYouHear in the next five years?
