Remember, the Quad HD LCD TV panel from Chi Mei Optoeletronics, we reported back in February. The company now announced to go into mass production with its 47-inchie model than the gorgeous 56-inch LCD TV, which it unveiled at CEBIT. The 47-inch panel will feature a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution as compared to a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels of its 56-inch model. The QFHD panel will feature a 1,500:1 contrast ratio, dual-link DVI, and HDMI 1.3 alongwith a 1440p resolution. The Quad HD panel can also be applied for high-resolution graphic display. The 47-inch model is slated to go into mass production in the second quarter of 2007.
