Classic 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540k Displayed at the 8th Middle East International Motor Show

The coveted 8th Middle East International Motor Show by the Dubai World Trade Center will be concluded today. The show has proved to be absolute delight for the car enthusiasts. The highlight of the show was the 1937 classic Mercedes-Benz 540k that was brought to the show by its Hamburg-based E.Thiesen Automobile Raritaten. The classic roadster priced at Euro 1.9 million was the most expensive car at the high-profile show.

The vintage supercar holds a significant place in the history of Mercedes-Benz and was the top-notch model prior to the period of World War II. The powerful car features an eight-cylinder engine and a speed of 180hp with supercharger and a five-speed gearbox. Only 25 models of the special car were built at that time and currently only 10 models are there in the world. The show was a hit among the car lovers and featured many high-profile launches and other luxurious beauties like Buggati Veyron.
