car on a stick
We, over at BornRich, are big fans of futuristic concept cars. In no case, we are going to miss the one designed by renowned designer, Ross Lovegrove. Lovegrove’s ‘Car on a Stick’ is a city car by day and a streetlight at night. At night, the cars are stored on the top of telescopic poles, where they function as street lights and keep the ground level free of parked vehicles. This green urban vehicle concept engages bubble-shaped cars, which are power-driven by solar canopies on the roof. The concept car runs on solar power and navigates using GPS technology. The voice-activated car has been designed to carry four people. Ross says - So, what you have here is a bubble car: very little material, transparent, very human, delicate gentle, carrying people, democratic for all of us, non-polluting, no noise. I really love those few poetic remarks. The perspective is different and the vision is different form the rest. But, does this mean anything more to you than 3D modeling and rendering? Nonetheless, the design is intriguing and I would personally want to see the ‘Car on a Stick’ run on the ‘real’ roads.
