All the audiophiles out there know very well about Cabasse and its $150,000 La Sphere speakers. The renowned company has now rolled out a brand new 5.1 Eole system that takes in five new spherical satellites and a very compact subwoofer. The design seems to be inspired from the La Sphere speakers itself. Anyhow, the engineers have intelligently positioned the new DOM 18 tweeter in order to provide a coherent sound field with a wide sweet spot.

The new Santorin 21 subwoofer is stuffed with a 250w amplifier and a new 8″ woofer has been principally designed for stereo sound. The spherical speakers tout all-aluminum make and comes in three different finishes, silver, glossy black and glossy. It’s not as costly as the La Sphere as the price tag reads US $3000.
