A few classic TVs and radios by Brionvega already have the honor of being placed in numerous design collections and museums. The firm raised eyebrows with the attractively designed Alpha TV, and now they are back to impress us with the RR226 music system, which is a refined version of Radiofonografio, created in 1965 by the celebrated Castiglioni brothers. Back in 1965, this “musical component robot” was accepted as an electronic marvel that featured a radio, amplifiers and a record player. Although the refurbished model looks to be the copy of the original, the major change is the inclusion of CD and DVD players. You can even go for varied configurations with the amplifiers to enhance the visual and listening experience. The re-invented Radiofonografio might hit the shelves for some good amount in a short time from now, but the original one is still a coveted system for many of us.

I remember this; I’ve seen it a lot of time. Brionvega is a pioneer in this sector of market, and many of its items are exposed in a lot museums in the world. Good idea to maintain the same design with new technology.
