Boyd Gaming Corporation is planning for a $4 billion hotel and casino complex on 63 acres on the Las Vegas Strip. The new casino is planned on the site of the old Stardust casino. The complex will be called Echelon Place and is scheduled to open in 2010. The mega-resort will include four hotels with 5,300 guest rooms and suites, a 140,000 square-foot casino, spas, a 4,000-seat theater, shopping malls and acres of convention space.
