Bonhams will be auctioning its ultra exclusive Ferrari at the chic Palace Hotel in Gstaad on December 17. The entries up for sale will feature a classic Ferrari 250GT, a F40LM, one of a series of just 20 LMs by Ferrari.
Besides these two iconic models Bonhams is auctioning one of Maranello’s early models, the Vignale bodied 212 Export which won the 1953 Coppa Inter-Europa sports car race and was driven by Ferrari veteran Franco Cornacchia. The sale will feature 100 Lots of Ferrari-related automobilia and 30 cars and will also include the exclusive 1965 Ferrari 400 Superamerica which was earlier sold to Signor Maggiore in Florence and is now fully restored to its original siver livery with red leather upholstery to be listed in the auction’s exclusive car list. The model is estimated to be sold for upto $330,180.50

I live in Lausanne , Switzerland and with some friends we are organizing the first yacht Rally ”THE RACE 2007” that will take place in Sardinia next year from the 18th. to 21st. of june 2007. It is open to all yachts from 18 to 64 meters ! Every year we do some fun event as this one, in 2008 it will be in the Snow and Ice, in 2009 on Volcanoes and deserts and in 2010 ....Intergalactic ! and it is not a joke ! (actually this year we have organized the first one on Earth The Race 2006 with classic cars in the Alps all the way to Gstaad with 54 teams that came from all over the world (Buenos Aires, Switzerland, Australia, Miami, London, Isle of Man, Paris, Geneva, Italy ...) and by the way we always try to raise money for children charities. This year we raised 202’000.- swiss francs for Jan & Oscar Foundation to create schools for the after Tsunami children in Thailand. Why not just save and put this vintage vehicles in some museums? But if they really need to sell it, make sure that the one who’ll buy it will preserve it. Are the parts of this car all genuine? Are the engines, wheels, ac compressor and all the vital parts still in good condition?I also want vintage cars but not this expensive.
