Renowned watchmaker Blancpain has created an exclusive series of 10 watches bearing the Monaco coat-of-arms in order to commemorate its eighth consecutive partnership year with Monaco Yacht Show. These limited edition watches have been made by exclusive permission of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco. The M.Y.S. limited edition will be admired by the diving professionals, as well as all nautical and water sports enthusiasts. The chronographs are watertight and operational at depths of 300 meters, thanks to a system of special seals.
In reality, the limited edition is the brand new Fifty Fathoms in its flyback chronograph version. The Fifty Fathoms M.Y.S. Flyback Chronograph has been festooned with a sturdy case created in steel and a deep black dial adorned with the Monaco coat-of-arms. The dial surface is coated with a warm Havana brown colored enamel and is crafted in 18-carat gold and adorned with finely hand-crafted motifs.
Pictured above is the Blancpain Only Watch 2007 whose beating heart is in the shape of mechanical hand-wound Calibre 15. The ultra-slim movement measures only 1.9 mm thick for a diameter of 36.1 mm. The watch is housed in an 18-carat yellow gold half-hunter case. The Blancpain Only Watch 2007 went under the auctioneer’s hammer for €70,000.
