While Sir Richard Branson is busy flaunting his SpaceShipTwo and the Astrium Space Jet hopes to take off in 2012, the good folks at Armadillo Aerospace are showing a concept suborbital vehicle for space tourists. Christened the Fishbowl Spaceship, this spaceship will offer passengers a 360-degrees view of space. The founder of the company is iD software (Doom, Quake) chief John Carmack, and he has plans to build an initial prototype of the vehicle in 2009. The bizarre-looking spaceship will take two persons into the space at a time and the ticket will cost around $100,000 per passenger. The flight is scheduled to take off from Spaceport America. Without a doubt, flying cars and spaceships are literally going to change the way we use to travel.
