Shoes breathe life into our feet. Comfort is an effort that shoe designers intend to include in their makes. Yet defining the statement broader, the likes of designer Marloes ten Bhömer embed luxury into our foot-soles. Living to the standard of uniqueness, Bhömer just launched her first commercially available shoe, the “Beigefoldedshoe.” All handmade from a single piece of folded leather, the shoe bears a stainless steel heel and a price tag of £2,250 (approx. $3,715). Transformed into a wearable shoe through two years of continuous effort, the Beigefoldedshoe definitely complements the design and labor with its construction and finish.
