To be introduced at MusikMesse in March, EKS OTUS will bring fresh thinking to controlling DJ software. With new features, solid aluminum build and chic make, it will give professional DJs a serious tool for the future. The new model is an advanced version of the company’s XP10 controller. From the design, it looks like this one has been designed by NASA. Sensing the technology and aesthetics lines drawn in the sand by the likes of Numark’s NS7 and Stanton’s SC system, EKS has introduced the OTUS as a challenge. Unlike other controller on the market, the OTUS’ heart is its illuminated 7.5” jog wheel that enables both physical and virtual sensitivity solutions. All the OTUS controls have been designed to answer the highest professional standards. The machine gives the DJs freedom to work with the software combinations of choice. The touch controls on OTUS are without doubt going to allure the professionals. Hope the DJs like the concept of touch screen DJing. For now, this is the only info we have on the product. EKS seems to be finalizing the full spec sheet, which they might disclose closer to the product launch. Do check out the pictures and promo video after the jump.
