This might seem like a Batmobile inspired design with its twin cockpit concept just like the Honda’s Extreme Eco-Batmobile Concept, we saw earlier, but, this KTM X-Bow is the prototype of a new lightweight sports car KTM - Europe’s that made its debut at Geneva Motor Show. The car features aerodynamic design and have a carbon fibre chassis and a modern four-cylinder FSI turbo engine from Audi. The company claims that the KTM X-Bow is equipped with racing technology, like an avantgarde and will deliver a driving experience equivalent to motor sports. The KTM X-Bow accelerates to 100 kph in just 3.9 seconds with more than twice the power of super-sport cars.

The first 100 units have already been sold owing to the popularity at Geneva Motor Show as an exclusive special series, but the company will run into production in early 2008, with the first deliveries to customers expected in February. So, in case you want one from the 2008 lot, start saving now for it will cost you dearly for $54,000!

The car will probably be a lot like the Radicals and the Ariel Atom in performance and handling. Although I think that it looks better than the Radicals and the Ariel Atom.
But I do agree that it looks great, but I’m waiting for a design with a price tag that reflects the simplicity of the concept. Does this type of car really have to be so expensive (in relative terms)? I’d like to see a car with similar styling, but using off-the-shelf parts and folia tech decals. Sure it might weigh a little more, but I feel that it should be possible to get similar performance for a lot less...
the X-Bow should be able to hit 60 mph in less than four seconds flat with the base engine. Having a super flowmaster exhaust system it can have 300 horses, that number could creep into the mid-threes.
