You have seen mobile phones like Nokia N90 with a sub display on the cover to let you know the caller’s ID, read messages and display files. Now, how would you like a more functional similar concept on notebooks, so to enable you to perform tasks like sending emails and listening to your MP3 files without keeping your notebook open all-the-while! Asustek Computer has unveiled a new notebook that comes with a small screen on the cover. The “second display” design for notebooks enables users to operate, such as using the email and MP3 player functions, without unfolding the devices. The notebooks feature the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. Besides the ease in performing tasks, the second screen looks appealing and geeky. The “second display” design notebooks are on display at the ongoing Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco.
