A few days back, the Ascent Ti from Vertu was spotted on a FCC filing and now, it’s officially out. It’s not pricey as the other Vertu models such as the Diamond ($88,000) and Signature Cobra ($310,000) but still, it’s not that much cheap at $6,628. The new handset touts premium materials, including a Titanium chassis, cowhide leather back, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face and polished ceramic. You can have yours in a choice of black, red or brown. Other salient specs include 3-megapixel camera with flash, Nokia’s Symbian Series 40 OS, and support for 3G and quadband GSM networks. The Vertu Ascent Ti will be available in stores shortly.
