With all the recent workstation options we crowded you with, you might have presumed that you have seen it all! But, we are here with some outstanding workstation designs to leave your vying for more than one. The results for the “Designer’s Workstation 2008” international design competition are out. The competition was focused on designing the ideal workstation and designers from all parts of the world took part in it. The judgement panel featured biggies such as Piero Lissoni and Stefano Giovannoni. My pick is this workstation called “The Incubator” from designer Honfay Lui that looks pretty similar to the Cave Bookcase we earlier told you about. The workstation is designed as an arcade pod incubator for “Live /Work / Play”. The pod incubators can be moved sideways to form different configurations.

The winning entries include Tree Table workstation that boasts innovative shape with unique foot for maximum flexibility. It features rotating arm that hides the wiry mess and support the computer screen as well. Then, the Animated Workstation is meant for the architects and is designed to look like a pilot place.

But that’s not it! The workstation concepts by design students are equally impressive! My pick is the workspace called “Bridge” meant for Industrial design purposes. The workstation designs are truly designed for the wired generation!
