2006 CES Show



The year kicked off nicely for the gadget-geeks with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) displaying the latest electronic stuff from the renowned brands. The five-day annual event will be showcasing latest stuff from international brands. The biggest trend that is riding the show is all-in-one technology that just needs a few button clicks to let you enjoy MP3, cell phone and television all in one and giving you the convenience of a digital room. The show is showcasing a range of stuff from flat-panel LCD Televisions and wearable electronic stuff to easy-to use gizmos. The show is exhibiting electronic goods from over 2,500 exhibitors. 1. Samsung YM-P1 Player- The wave of new electronics that debuts in the show includes Samsung YM-P1 portable TV and MP3 player that won the show’s ‘Innovations’ award for outstanding design and engineering. The YM-P1 receives and plays TV signals from satellite broadcasts and also stores and plays music and video and displays digital photos.



2. Belkin TuneStage- The gadget is designed to enable you to connect your iPod wirelessly to a stereo or home-theater system.



3. LG Wireless Plasma Display- LG has introduced its new radically thinner 50-inch Wireless Plasma Display that gets its signals without wires, drawing images from a separate transmitter unit.



The show will be showcasing a plethora of new brilliant stuff including a new control pad from Elan that operates any number of items in the home, from the TV to the drapes, PlayStation 3 by Sony and HDTV.
