armani_340x262_48Samsung meets Armani yet again and this time, the upshot is a just another normal looking HDTV. That is right, the Italian fashion label, Giorgio Armani has joined hands with the Korean electronics major, Samsung electronics to come up with a designer HDTV dubbed Armani Theater that looks very solid with its clean, uncluttered lines and seems like it is sculpted out from a large block of plastic than the fragile looking HDTV’s that abound the market now. But, I must say that it’s not exactly the kind of design I can expect from guys over at Giorgio Armani. Anyway, the Armani TV is loaded with trick technology to make sure that it has enough go to match it’s impeccable show. A 1080 pixel display resolution running at 100hz gives you a crystal picture quality and the Samsung and Armani logo sits prominently on the TV’s front, just below the large screen. Oh yes, it has got two two remotes

The logo can be adjusted with a four mode power switch which makes these logos very visible to everybody who watch this LCD TV, for it to convey its exalted lineage. A 46- and 52-inch version are expected to be released this year in Europe, Korea and Russia. The price, of course, will befit Armani’s brand value which in other words means, it will be stratospheric. Whatever the price be, one thing is for sure that there are far better options on the shelves, sleek and sexy.
