
This is what Forbes is saying for its annual list of the America’s most expensive oceanfront mansions, urban townhouses, monumental ski lodges and country estates. In 2008, the luxury home at the last position in Forbes’ list of America’s Most Expensive Homes was valued at $75 million, but this year, there are four homes on the list that are priced below the above mentioned figure. This year list doesn’t include private listings and land sales. Moreover, the $150 million Spelling Mansion is also not on the list because it’s is currently not publicly listed. Undoubtedly, prices and sales have suffered from the economic downturn, but still, the homes on the list ask for some big bucks. Check out the whole list after the jump…
