We have covered many toilets….some high-tech while others gilded or crystal-caked! But here are a few of well-used public toilets that have mushroomed up on eBay. And for a stomach-churning estimate of $89,000 each. The story is that Seattle officials are intending to rectify their blunder (that’s what they feel) of spending $5 million of the city’s cash on self-cleaning public toilets about 5 years back. Though these graffiti and impact-resistant stalls have automated doors, faucets, dryers and soap dispensers, and have an emergency 9-1-1 button, the neighbors and analysts for the city say these public facilities attracted drug users and prostitutes. They feel that these structures have been less than cost-effective since the time were installed. And now five of these German-made structures meant for answering nature’s call have gone up for auction at a starting bid of $89,000 each. Ughsssss, who is insane to flush away $90,000 for such a yucky loo? However if you’ve second thoughts on it then you’ve 9 more days before the bidding ends.

Seems like a great idea but way too costly. This country doesnt need to spend money on that. We have people living on the street. As the article states that it attracts the wrong people
