German Land Rover enthusiasts Thomas Bell and Holger Kalvelage who also share their fascination for classic British roadsters have decided to combine these two attributes into one with the world’s first Land Rover 4×4 “Off-roadster” that looks like much like a vintage car. Bell Aurens Longnose, is a cross-over between a classic British roadster and a Land Rover. “Edward would have driven Wallis Simpson in a Bell Aurens Longnose to private outings. Lawrence of Arabia would have stormed in the Bell Aurens Longnose towards Akaba. And General Montgomery would have parked it in front of the officer’s says Bell and Kalvelage.” The ravishing ride features a choice of 8 or 12 cylinder 4.6-litre engines, leaf sprung double square steel ladder frame, modified standard steering from series Land Rover, off-road gear reduction. The V12 cylinder (aircraft engine) will feature a capacity of 27.0 liter approx 1500 bhp. The electrics will be limited just to the needed parts, like lighting and ignition. The standart gauges will be: mechanical speedometer, oil pressure, watertemperature and fuel gauge. Even the driver will get some reving feedback directly from the engine sound, a revmeter will be optional available. Each vehicle will be custom built to order for an equally stunning price tag of 100,000 euros i.e. approx. $157,709. The price includes membership of the exclusive Bell Aurens Owner’s Club, and each buyer can visit the factory in Bavaria during their car’s build. The dream car will be available in black, Sahara racing cream, British racing green.

Looks like a good classic car to me. I hope they won’t have a hard time finding replacement parts for it as well.
What a cool way to mod that Landrover! Landrovers are fantastic cars.
Big car for big people. Hammer takes a rest.
