When half the world is struggling to make their two ends meet, there are a lucky few who can afford to throw around moolah enough to feed thousands on just one meal. Why else do you see luxury food with four-digit bills created to satisfy the high and mighty every now and then? Eating to satisfy your appetite is one thing and relishing the finest food money can buy is another. The $12,000 Knish introduced by the Suffolk Kitchen could be the most expensive dish so far. So, what’s special about it? The knish is topped with the freshest ingredients: Osetra, Sevruga and Beluga caviars, white alba truffles, 24k edible gold leaf, lobster, Kobe tartar, a Kobe burger, a Kobe hot dog, an ostrich egg, two kinds of foie gras - duck and goose, and a moose snout and drizzled with 100 yr old balsamic vinegar and doused with with Louis XIII Cognac and flambéed. Sounds yummy?
Well, if you want to give yourself this super luxury treat, you have to book the dish 48 hrs in advance. P.N: Payments accepted in cash only! Not a big deal, if you really can afford to order this dish. One order a day is enough to make the chef a millionaire by the end of the year!
